Steam and Water Analysis System (SWAS) for Oil & Gas

SWAS solutions help to maintain the boiler feed water quality to avoid corrosion and scaling

Steam and Water Analysis System (SWAS) for Oil & Gas
Steam applications are part of oil and gas production. For smooth operation with minimal energy consumption and to protect the equipment, the purity of the feed water must be measured and documented. Inadequate control can lead to damages and process downtime. Smart SWAS solutions from Endress+Hauser offer bundled high-tech measurements for critical parameters and save on operating costs through low cooling and sample water consumption.
Harware and Software
Water analysis of all typical critical parameters: e.g. pH/ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity (total, cationic/acid, differential), turbidity, TOC. Additional parameters and third-party sensors on demand.
Measurement of up to eight parameters with one user-friendly Liquiline transmitter.
Sample preparation with temperature and pressure reduction system up to 320 bar/4.640 psi and 575°C/1.060 °F available.
Integrated pH value calculation using differential conductivity.
Calculation of the remaining cation exchange capacity.
Automatic system shutdown if condensate temperature exceeds safety limits.
Turnkey SWAS Compact system for the measurement of total conductivity, acid/cationic and differential conductivity, dissolved oxygen, pH for temperatures up to 50 bar/725 psi and 240 °C/460 °F in one device.
